- To become an excellent Photographic Artist. A Photographer who is never satisfied, but motivated, curious with creativity and adventure to use his knowledge, skills and know how as a stepping stone to great achievement.
- To understand and be able to work with any kind of lighting conditions and adapt easily.
- To understand composition, which includes placement-all lines-dominate and secondary subjects (Dynamic Symmetry), color harmony and composition, which is so varied but a key element in the understanding of all art. Photography being a universal vision by which thoughts and feelings are explained. We get into an imaginative state and then there is no end.
- To help ourselves, we must study all methods of art: music, poetry, painting, dance, religion, etc. We must look into all types of art, books, visit Museums, reviews and exhibitions of art.
- To hold individual and group exhibits featuring your work and the work of your group.
- To work with other group members monthly as a continuing education on subject matter discussed and presented within the group. Each monthly meeting is to be at a different studio or location.
- To become not just a judge, but a competent juror through your understanding and awareness of all photographic and artistic elements.
- To become a teacher, lecturer who is well versed on his art and all the elements of light, composition and mood, which tells us a story or interpretation.
- To become a leader in your community, to have been blessed with the love of man and the understanding of everything around us. To be able to give thanks not only to your friends and mentors, but to God, through which all things are possible in Faith.
- To exchange prints of images exposed at each Seminar with all attendee's therefore becoming a Collector of Photographic Art.
- To place aside 10 great negatives each year from our Seminar, to possibly use in a hardcover book featuring images by the group. To be done after our 5 years.
- At the end of our five year term, to travel as a group to some foreign place, like France to visit the home and areas of great inspirational Artists, like Monet, Renoir, etc.
